Pivot Point began building AI chatbots in 2023, recognising how the latest advancements in AI could transform the way businesses interact with their customers online. With founder Tala Chisholm’s deep background in retail and B2C industries, she saw first-hand the growing need for businesses to provide instant answers – at a time when customer expectations were rising and traditional teams were stretched thin, unable to keep up with demand. What was once a luxury had become a necessity.

Our Team

Hi, I’m Tala Chisholm

Founder

Tala Chisholm is an Honours Mechanical Engineering graduate with more than 26 years of experience across industries including retail, e-commerce, wholesale, manufacturing, franchising & licensing, logistics & haulage, construction, and coaching & consulting. She co-owned and managed Lightsounds and LSW Importing & Distribution (1998–2018), growing it into a 67-staff operation and earning a Telstra Business Woman of the Year nomination in 2009.

Her wide industry background gives her a deep understanding of business operations and customer interactions, which she brings into the programming and training of AI-powered chatbots. This ensures each chatbot goes beyond simple Q&A – capable of handling nuanced conversations, qualifying leads, and adapting to different business situations. The result: AI assistants that maximise performance and create real competitive advantage for our clients.
